I once used magic loop when I was testing a baby sweater pattern for a designer; I used ML for the sleeves and remember it fondly. For some reason though, using ML for the hat was a disaster. I probably didn't use a long enough cable. I just love my DPNs :) Hehe...ekgheiyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02829093113564663939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4700099751819481882.post-41187239418266845282007-12-10T15:17:00.000-08:002007-12-10T15:17:00.000-08:00Thanks. Makes sense.Knitting Guyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10309906709877268152noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4700099751819481882.post-46177367619844014802007-12-10T15:04:00.000-08:002007-12-10T15:04:00.000-08:00I've been doing a lot of hats lately (all in worst...I've been doing a lot of hats lately (all in worsted weight yarn) and starting all on size 9 circs. But I've found when I switched to dpns I'd go down to an 8, and seem to get a better result with decreasing. Just turned out with a nicer, tighter fabric - not sure why but it works for me!Kathhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01966643349355325198noreply@blogger.com
