I made this hat using moss stitch for the main body of the hat. It made for a nice texture.

man, you must have had some serious sleep time to log! You're busting out the hats! I don't feel like I've finished anything in forever.
Well, specialized hauling is a bit different than hauling general freight.
Most of my knitting is done while waiting for meals in truckstops, when parked for the night, or while enjoying an adult beverage in some pub somewhere.
If I'm not riding and guiding I'm sitting and knitting.

Mason that is gorgeous! I love the colors too! BTW, do you wear most of those bazillion hats you are always knitting or do you give them away as gifts?
Thanks Donna. I wear some but a lot of them were gifts. The moss stitch one was made for a friend in her favorite colors.
I get a lot of people who ask me to make hats for them. Some I make as gifts, some for pay, some for me :D.
