Based upon some good input at KH I added a ribbon tie so the bootie can be better secured on the baby's foot.

Hi Knitting Guy! Thank you for your nice comment on my bootie pattern, and for referencing it along with your own effort to create a bottom-up seamless baby bootie! Can you believe the difficulty in **finding** a seamless bootie pattern? I was very surprised that I couldn't find an existing one that I liked... Yours looks great! I'm going to reference your blog in my next post, because I think it's funny how we were both thinking along the same lines on this...
I also checked out your first attempt at a sweater in one of your prior posts, and I must say that it is terrific!

very nice looking! you should put up a link to the pattern. I seem to find myself at that age where everyone is having kids and these would make a cool gift.
...better than the "I'm with stupid ---> " shirt that points to the parents.

Thanks. For the most part this was improvised so there really isn't a pattern per se.
I did use YarnThrower's pattern, which is a very similar design, to do the toe shaping. That pattern is pretty close to what I did here although there are a few differences.
